History

Lormax was founded in 1998 by Max Borneman to provide independent and objective advice for the implementation of IT strategies from a business outcome perspective. Max has over 30 years experience in the IT industry, and is a leading practitioner in achieving service delivery outcomes. His relevant experience includes:

• Managing the implementation of IT outsourcing arrangements covering the full extent of application development, maintenance and support, desktop support, network services, and data centre operations;
  
  
• Managing the development, discussion, agreement and implementation of internal and external Service Level Agreements covering IT performance;
  
  
• Leading the delivery team for an IT outsourcing operation servicing multiple customers on a fully commercial basis in the operation and support of data centre and client/server environments;
  
  
• Applying program management methods and techniques to implement IT strategies in alignment with business objectives;
  
  
• Managing IT functions on behalf of customer organisations (including outsourced environments);
  
  
• Developing and implementing governance models to oversee the performance of IT operations (including outsourced environments);
  
  
• Applying organisational change management methods and techniques to design organisation structures and manage the change process.
